Ooh, that's a good idea too. Form two divisions out of the current Div1a. I've always been for this. Have the better teams continue to play in fall, have the little guys play in winter/spring. I like it.

That will never happen.

Those teams all choose to be part of the FBS system. The NCAA is not allowed to treat teams any differently which is why you keep seeing teams getting added to the FBS. All the NCAA can do is make some basic requirements and that's about it. I'm guessing this is because of anti-trust kinds of shit.

Says they want to serve areas with no competition from other major pro sports. Im gonna throw out some guesses like Las Vegas, Portland Oregon, Maine, midwest areas like Oklahoma, Nebraska, Iowa, maybe down in West Texas, Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia
