I disagree. While only one example, I hate Ohio State football and voted for the Buckeyes anyway.

What the result shows is the sheer number of blind homer Nebraska fans who will come out of the woodwork to support their team, whether warranted or not.

I voted 35 times for all Royals for the ASG too.

While looking for that picture I posted, I stumbled across a newspaper article that he was quoted in saying that his only regret about playing at Nebraska was that he did not choose the number 8 for his jersey. Then his back would have said:

Like JJM said, we're kinda tired if winning fake events these days. Be nice if we could actually win something real.

Seriously if you put this kind of a tournament bracket on ESPN' s front page Nebraska wins it. I can remember just one time in the last decade that Nebraska lost a big fan vote. It just doesn't happen.

If the cot damn players cared half as much as we do about the program maybe we'd start winning actual games.

Hopefully Riley is the answer, better coaching and better recruiting would go a long way towards bringing Nebraska back to National prominence. 5 star kids that don't care are still better than 2 star kids that don't.
