tOSU jumped LSU in all the polls last week.

It was said they had a better SOS than we did.

According to Sagarin, we now have a better SOS than the Buckeyes.

So does the committee put us back at No. 1 and move tOSU down?

As far as the committee goes, their rankings should just be 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d. The seeding makes no difference.

The seeding makes a huge difference when there are three teams better than everyone else. One team is only gonna have to beat one of the elite three to win the title, while the other two will have to beat two.

(I'm still pissed about 2015 Wisconsin Basketball getting screwed over in this scenario, where somehow we had to beat the three of the four elite teams to win the title, while Duke only had to beat one to walk away with the title, but that's a rant for another day, I suppose.)

You either can beat them or not. The only thing that matters is 4 and 5.

They might after the SECCG IF LSU wins. But for my poll, I've had OSU number one since very early this season.

I think the only way that happens is if OSU barely gets by and wins ugly while LSU slaughters UGA. After the way we whipped on michigan yesterday, I have to imagine the gap between us grew a bit.

Even with that, tOSU has the earlier 38-7 win. I just don’t see them getting jumped at this point.
