SPHL hockey

Just moved to Fayetteville NC this past summer and I just realized there is a SPHL hockey team here.

Was wondering if someone could give me some good info on the SPHL. I know the local team is the Fireantz, but what else do I need to know about this minor league level hockey league?

I've never seen a game but this is pretty far off of the beaten path. Probably be pretty fun games to go to though. And nice and cheap.

There are no affiliations with NHL clubs so don't expect to see any stars of tomorrow.

Not really finding much on the league, but cheap fun hockey minutes from home for the family is where I'm thinking this might pan out.

Just figured I would throw a line out there and see if our boards have someone that happens to follow that league.
