Have you guys had Andouie Sausages? They're not particularly tasty, but with ketchup and relish (they're chicken), they're not awful.

Make the best biscuits and gravy there is

Even if you're exaggerating a bit I couldn't finish that many pancakes.

I see a lot of people trying to diet and take off pounds.
It's a struggle for the vast majority of people

You'll never take pounds off and keep them off until you break your love affair with food.
Only eat things you don't particularly care for but aren't terrible.
Splurge every once in a while.
Teach yourself that being hungry isn't a bad thing.
Never leave the table completely full.
Cut out 2 of the things that are calorie intensive that you eat every day: me it was soft drinks and milk.
Exercise is not the key to weight loss until you get your eating under control.

I've lost 45lbs in the last year.

Good Luck

It's certainly not a good thing, considering the headaches and other things that often come with it.

Plenty of people eat frequently and are never hungry but stay relatively fit, and that's because it's more about the quality of the food than the quantity. It's moreso a matter of trading the mid-day candy bar snack for yogurt/fruit or a burger for grilled chicken and so forth.

congrats. Agreed weight loss is multi-factorial and a LIFESTYLE change. You can diet all you want, but if things arent changed you just get fat again

Water.

And more water.

Everything in moderation, except the water.

A couple things I've been eating since I have been trying to be more health conscience:

Baby lima beans
Cooked Greens
Plain Yogurt
Water instead of milk
Steel cut oats
Tons of fruit

All taste pretty good except the plain greek yogurt, I can't find a decent way to choke that down. I mostly just grin and bear it.

Can't do the plain yogurt either. Add some cinnamon, honey, vanilla extract, fruit, nuts, anything to that stuff.

You have to look at food as fuel. That's all it is. Eat the most efficient fuel. After you eat regardless of what you eat you are full. If food is your only source of happiness you need to find some happiness.
