Freddy Meyer collapsed in the second and did not return. that is the second player in Atlanta to collapse. both seem to be concussion related no? maybe their trainers need to be looked at.

Just collapsing just seems so odd. If they had a previous concussion and get hit again I can see collapsing, but without any extra contact is funky. Last time I thought possibly heart related, or dehydration, but two now is funky.

Just collapsing just seems so odd. If they had a previous concussion and get hit again I can see collapsing, but without any extra contact is funky. Last time I thought possibly heart related, or dehydration, but two now is funky.

He got his a couple of times lightly just before.
apparently got cranked a bit earlier n the game? (I didn't see that one in the highlight pack)

im being serious here for a change, Im no scientist, and they might have already done this ... but thrashers arena staff ... please do some testing on the refrigerant levels at ice level ... ammonia is used, no?

stuff like this has happened at small rinks across canada before

Now there's an idea. That's actually a very good point. Makes more sense than many other things, like not eating/dehydrated (because pro-athletes are the healthiest in the world as far as this goes).

yeah I agree. something has to be looked at. I watched the highlites and he got hit soft and even threw some hits. to me its enough of a warning.
