I watched..... I probably should have done some shit to get ready for the holidays, but I sorta figured we'd win so I tuned in. A few notes:

1) It only took 12 games for our stellar coaching staff to realize what the rest of us figured out in week 1 - Our 1st round right tackle is an epic bust and must be benched. They sit his ass down and Dalton doesn't get sacked. Wow! That was difficult.

2) Dalton is pretty damn good if you give him any sort of pocket. Dude was throwing darts out there today..... And it's not like his receivers are all-pros.

3) Watching George Iloka attempt to catch a football is sorta like watching a 6 year old catch..... You're almost scared they are going to hurt themselves. BTW -- Is there a team in the league that has DBs with worse hands than this group?

4) Our running game is absolute trash. I realize our offensive line sucks, but at some point we need to stop giving the ball to Hill. I think everyone assumes he is really good because of all those long runs as a rookie. Those look like flukes more than anything else at this point in time.

5) Nuget is complete trash. And I think the thing that bothers me most is that nobody talks about how much he sunk us last season. If he makes a 40 yard field goal in Denver (on a clear night) last December, we probably take a 17-0 lead into halftime in Denver. Brock Osweiler is not coming back from 17 at halftime.... Nugent might be the reason the Broncos won the Super Bowl.

Ced missed an entire year of football, and they gave him the RT spot. Fischer, for whatever reason, could not get on the field until this past game, and then the geniuses threw him a pass that injured his knee. Go figure. I still think it's too early to sell on Ced. But, I agree that it's been long past due to see what Fischer could have done.

Dalton is a good QB. Period. He has rough games because he struggles with consistency, but any QB would if they've been sacked more times than at any point in his career in a season thus far. Add in No Tyler Eifert to start the year, and no AJ to finish it. Not exactly the makings of helping a QB with a poor blocking OL, no run game, and now limited threats at WR.

This team has always dropped big INT's. It must be a Karma thing, because it can go back to Billups.

I'd give starts to Burkhead. Hill just doesn't get the ball and go anymore. Just dances around.

The easiest position on the team to change is the kicker. The Bengals refuse. This is not a shock (See: RT Cedric). This team simply doesn't make changes, or make adjustments. Marvin's lack of accountability, lack of fire, lack of urgency has all trickled down to the players. It's why they always have, and always will, struggle in tough times and close games. They have nothing from their coach that tells them they can do this, or that there will be consequences if they don't.

I think the issue with Ced is that he's looking more and more like a guy that got drafted because he was an athlete - Not a football player. If you go back and look at his college career, he gave up a ton of sacks..... And that was in an offense that was designed to get rid of the ball fast. He seems like one of our 'old' picks - Guys like Reinard Wilson - That are picked because of athleticism and not production. A guy like Whitworth was said to be limited athletically, but he was a stud in the SEC in college. That translated. Tits McGee looked like an idiot at the combine, but (aside from his inability to count) he was a terrific right tackle. I realize that choosing a player based on production alone is stupid - They have to be big enough and fast enough for the pro game. But Cedric doesn't look like he knows how to play football - And I'm not confident that he'll figure it out.

I've said it since training camp. Cedric Ogbuehi is a bust.

Texas A&M tackles are too finesse for the NFL. Luke Joeckel sucks too.

The only one that is good is Jake Matthews. Which shouldn't be a surprise given his blood line.

As far as the other points:

Dalton is a good QB. He proved it last year when the supporting cast was up to par. He's been solid considering the circumstances this year. We can't all have Brady or Brees. Just because a guy isn't elite doesn't mean he isn't a quality starting QB. You put this version of Andy Dalton with the Bengals team from 2013 or even last year, we would win a playoff game.

The coaching staff sucks eggs. Nothing to see here. In other news, the earth is round.

Jeremy Hill sucks. Its time to accept that 2014 was a fluke. Honestly, id be okay with drafting the Fournette kid.

The refusal to replace Nugent is par for the course. The Bengals organization is trash and continues to teabag a fanbase that has been more supportive of the Brown family than they deserve.

NFL running backs aren't meant to last for a long time. some of them do, but in general you have to keep changing the guard.
