This article is about Jason Peters, but it does mention Leon Hall. An NFL trainer says that the average recovery period for an achilles is 11 months. Hall was injured in November of last year, so if you went by averages he wouldn't be available until the middle of the season and by that point you'd have to figure he would be rusty. Lets hope the team's new medical staff (took over last year) aren't as incompetent as the old.

the position he plays is huge as well...

if he even losses half a step he's going to be a liabilty in coverage. CB is the most pressing need on the roster right now

I wrote an article last week about this on stripehype. John Thornton was saying the same thing. He said Hall won't be 100% til 2013 and may not be ready at all to start the year. I'll link the article later if you want to read it.
