LSU won't be in the championship game this year due to the preseason number one curse.

USC will beat Oregon in the first matchup but likely will lose to them in the Pac-12 championship

Logan Thomas will be the breakout player of the year, but Virginia Tech will still lose a game they shouldn't.

Ohio State will be much improved this year, and will likely be a major thorn for the rest of the Big 10.

Tennessee will also make major improvements this year and it will be noticed nationally when they upset Alabama at home.

If Boise State can go unbeaten in the MWC they will make a BCS bowl, even with a loss to Michigan State. They actually could even lose to BYU and still make one. Due to the fact that there's no other competitive mid-majors this year except maybe Ohio, and the Big East will still be mediocre.

Teams always ranked far too high in preseason(Florida State and Notre Dame) will again end up with seasons ranging from 8-4 to 6-6.

the biggest fall from grace will be from Miami-Florida, due to losing so many starters to the NFL.

Texas A&M, Missouri, and West Virginia will all struggle in their new conferences, TCU will even have some issues down the stretch.

Washington State will be much much more competitive this year under Mike Leach, they may even pull an upset over someone.

If Utah can stay healthy they will have a really good year this year maybe even go unbeaten in the regular season if they can upset USC at home, and beat Washington on the road. Those are big "ifs" though and quite unlikely.

as mentioned before USC will beat Oregon in the first meeting, but lose to them in the conference championship, Oregon will earn a birth to the championship game against Georgia who only loses to South Carolina but wins the SEC east because South Carolina loses to Arkansas and another team they shouldn't have lost to. Georgia will beat Alabama for the SEC championship. Oregon though will win it all, seems like they're ready now that all the big name players are gone, now they're filled with talented players looking to make a name for themselves.

lets see how many of these are actually correct

1. In a stunner to open the season Michigan beats a talented but inexperienced Alabama team.

2. Alabama responds and wins the rest of their games until they get to the SEC title game where they lose in an upset to South Carolina.

3. Ill go opposite and say Oregon beats USC in their first matchup and goes into the P12 title game as the number 1 ranked team in the country but the Trojans get revenge and end the Ducks title dreams.

4. Wisconsin and Michigan play for the B10 title with the Badgers prevailing and heading to the first NC game in their football history.

5. Pitt surprises everyone by winning the BE over USF and Louisville.

6. WVU and TCU finish 2nd and 3rd in the BE respectively behind the other NC game participant Oklahoma.

7. VT loses in an early upset to Pitt, but they respond to win the BE and go to the Orange Bowl and get their revenge on the Panthers.

8. Boise loses early to MSU but still has a solid 10-2 year.

9. Southern Miss wins in Lincoln week 1 and goes on to a 11-1 year and an at large BCS bid.

10. My team has every single RB on the roster arrested for male prostitution so Coach Ferentz recruits a guy from the student union that "looks fast" to play RB. John Doe rushes for 1978 yards and leads Iowa to a 10-2 record and wins the Heisman...

lets see how many of these are actually correct

1) I don't think that curse applies to the SEC

2) I see USC being last year's Oklahoma State. Beat the tough teams, but lose to a team similar to Iowa State.

3) I can see that.

4) I think Ohio State will be the most interesting team. They will have more impact on what happens in the Legends race than in the Leaders race.

5) I don't think they'll be any better, but I do see them getting an upset.

6) Boise State will not make a BCS Bowl with 2 losses. They would with 1 loss though. Losing Kellen Moore will hurt them. I don't think they will win MWC.

7) Agree with the FSU and ND prediction.

8) I would say Oklahoma State or Stanford will fall from grace the most. I believe both are ranked in preseason and both lost key players. They both will finish in the middle of their conference. Miami (FL) is not ranked.

9) I agree with the struggle to the new conference teams. I think TCU will need a year or 2 to adjust to the tougher conference.

10) Washington State will be improved, but it will be like what Minnesota is under Kill. Once Leach has his recruits making up the team, I think they will consistantly make bowl games.

11) IDK much about Utah. I won't comment on that.

12) I can see Oregon making it to the NCG and winning, but I think they will be that 3rd team. I think a 1-loss team like Oklahoma will beat them out.

I can't take anyone seriously who is high on Pitt and thinks Notre Dame wins 10 games.

1. Alabama goes undefeated, and wins it's second straight title, and 3 in 4 years.

2. Auburn opens the season with a 2 TD win over Clemson.

3. Michigan wins out after losing to Alabama in the opener, but a 1 loss USC gets in the title game over them because they don't want another rematch in the title game.

4. LSU loses to Alabama, Arky, and almost loses to Auburn.

5. Tennessee wins 10 games.

6. UGA goes 11-1, only loss being to Bama in the SECCG.

7. An auburn or UGA player DOESN'T get suspended.

8. Michael Dyer DOESN'T transfer again.

9. Alabama has two Heisman finalist, Eddie Lacy and AJ Mccarron, neither win.

Pretty much nothing but SEC predictions. At least you know your limitations. Some of these people are vastly overreaching their comprehension of college football.

LOL, I added like 3 teams to the BE. WVU, VT and TCU. Stupid typing too fast. ( to clarify, yes I do know what conference all 3 of those teams are in :) )

Why does everyone love the dumpster fire that is Pitt?

I'm not sure either sir, they're really going to struggle this year. Chryst is going to make them a good program when they join the ACC though.

1. yes it does, see Florida in 09 and Alabama in 10.
2. I could see that happening too
6. It does depend somewhat on what happens around us, but all we have to do is be ranked 16th to get in one, because the Big East will likely be won by an unranked champ.
8. You might be right, but my definition was a major historic program to have a major fall from grace.
9. TCU has very good depth as they have been getting a good amount of talent recently, they have a tough ending to their schedule though.
10. You'll be surprised at the pieces Leach already has there, if Tuel is healthy he might be the best QB Leach has ever had, They also have a first round NFL talent in WR Marquess Wilson. Plus some other solid recievers. Minnesota was a full rebuilding project.
12. That reminds me I forgot one of my predictions, Landry Jones will struggle big time this year without Broyles, it showed last year, and I think that will continue. I'll go as far to say they'll lose a few games then Bell will take over as starter and finish the year off strong.

I've given these before, but i'll post them again here:

Eight bold predictions of mine:

1. Oregon will win the national championship.

2. Michigan will lose at least five games.

3. Pitt will win the Big East, and win at least ten games.

4. Montee Ball will run for at least 2,250 yards.

5. Northern Illinois will go undefeated.

6. Tyler Wilson will be the consensus first team All-America quarterback.

7. Manti Teo will win the Bednarik award for a ten win Notre Dame team.

8. Bo Pelini will be heavily on the hot seat by season's end.

1. I agree
2. I can see this happening, Michigan got a lot of breaks last year.
3. I don't see this happening, Pitt has the worst QB in college football as a starter, plus they don't really have much talent elsewhere at the moment, the only good player they have is their running back who is coming off an injury if I'm not mistaken, I do think Chryst like I said earlier will lead Pitt to being a top program in the ACC.
4. If he doesn't miss any games
5. Probably not Northern Illinois has Iowa and Kansas on the schedule and the only AQ school they have beaten recently was Minnesota in 2010 but everyone beat Minnesota that year.
6. Possibly I think losing his coach could be a problem, has the talent to though.
7. He might win the Bednarik but Notre Dame will not have 10 wins.
8. Not too likely though Nebraska does have high expectations.

7. An auburn or UGA player DOESN'T get suspended.

8. Michael Dyer DOESN'T transfer again.

9. Alabama has two Heisman finalist, Eddie Lacy and AJ Mccarron, neither win.

1. homer pick, though possible.
2. I see Auburn winning
3. Ok now you're just naming Alabama's best case scenarios
4. likely
5. I see 9
6. very likely, but how would they be 11-1 when their only loss is in the SECCG?? wouldn't they have played 13 games then? :D
7. unlikely
8. He has to go somewhere first
9. LOL
