I was guessing. My first thought was MLB use to do two games a year. My second thought was someone from the WHL. Both to me would be Gordie.

If it's not Pelle I think it's gotta be someone else with that type of situation. But since the OP is a Flyers fan I'm guessing it's Pelle.

CORRECT Dragon! Nicely done.Pelle Lindbergh had three first team all-star selections, and one second team.BUT played in only three nhl qualifying (minimum games played) seasons. He was voted in the fourth selection after his death.(like tillman from the nfl)
Your up Dragon with a question if you want to.

Andy Brickley asked me this one.

Lots of people know that the 77-78 Bruins had the most 20 goal scorers with 11 (Grapes mentioned it in one of the old Rock em Sock ems). They had 10 in another season in the 70s too I believe. But the highest total for a non-Bruins team is 9, by the 74-75 Sabres. Name the nine players.

Ovechkin would have been a great guess. 10 seasons 10 all-stars

ahhh the French Connection! man that 1975 Cup Final had everything, fights, blood, bats, fog etc!

the answer is Peter McNabb,Rick Dudley,Danny Gare,Craig Ramsay(REALLY?!) Don Luce,Jim Lorentz and of course the French Connection-Rene Robert,Gilbert Perreault, and Rick Martin.
Great question!

Name the FIRST set of brothers to coach against each other in an NHL game.

I got 6 of them and Terry O'Reilly got 2, but Brickley had to tell us Rick Dudley. I never would have guessed him.

Haha well the question was originally meant to be just for me, but he joined in when I started to slow down.

Ramsay was an easy one! Dudley only scored 70 goals in his entire NHL career!

It's Bryan and Terry Murray I believe?

I'm stupid, it just came to me. It's the Patricks, waaaaaay before the Murrays, although for the life of me I can't remember Lester's brother's name, just that he coached the Bruins. If he had a trophy named after him too I bet I'd remember him.

ok I'll give it ya.
During the 1953-54 season Muzz Patrick coached the Rangers, and his brother Lynn the Bruins.

How about the SECOND set of brothers?(not the murray's)

Ah, I think you're wrong actually.

From 1934 to 1936 it looks like Frank (I'll probably never forget that name now) was coaching the Bruins and Lester was coaching the Rangers.

Well that is debatable. No doubt Frank was coaching the Bruins, but Lester was the general manager of the Rangers.Gonna look it up.

And that probably answers the question about the second pair too... I'm gonna guess it's Lynn and Muzz
