Obviously when you're 32-72, in would appear that obviously quite a few things need to change...

It seems they did alright at the deadline (though as a Cubs fan I would have loved to have moved Addison Russell in the Castellanos deal).

It just seems to me that Avila/Gardenhire are the ultimate retread GM/Manager combo and both need to be shown the door by season's end for the team to truly start over.

Any thoughts?

I think the future looks bright!!!

Starting Pitchers: Boyd, Norris and Fulmer are the start of the pitching staff ... Many arms in the mid minors (Mize, Manning, Skubal, Perez and Faedo)

Relief Pitchers: Jimenez (Time to see if he is the real deal), unknown whomever doesn't make it as a starter.

Catcher: Rogers is the real deal for catcher, any hitting is just a bonus.

Infield Dixon: (1B), Goodrum (2B), Castro (SS), Parades (3B)

Outfield: Jones (CF), Reyes (RF), Stewart (LF)

Cabrera (DH)

One or Two proper free agents could make this team gel in 2022.

Legendary Lloyd needs to go.

As a Braves fan who has been through a massive rebuild just hang in there it will be worth it. The Mize kid that went to Auburn is a stud. One of the best collegiate pitchers I’ve ever seen.

Detroit has actually roared back from a business and economic standpoint over the past 6-7 years. It's being used in the democrat primary debates as an example of how you turn a city around. The entire metro Detroit area has been doing fantastic.

Good to hear Detroit is doing better as a city, they had some rough times recently. As to the Tigers they need to draft well and make some smart signings in free agency.
