You have to kind of expect any holdout to have a little shit talking in him. I'm just mad I was suckered into his whole dramatic ordeal over a 2.8 million/2 year contract and the blockbuster of a deal that landed him on another team that is smack dab in th middle of it's conference.

Not to be a wet blanket but Turris didn't really say anything bad about the Coyotes in his statement.

He's been raving about his new teammates and I'll just focus on the positives. In his first game as a Sen he won faceoffs, was rock solid in his own end and set up the GWG. Hopefully the kid can flourish and Rundblad can carve a solid career so that both teams can win from this trade.

On a side note, the Yotes D-corps could be ridiculous in a few years if all pans out.

I agree. I can't say I'm a big fan of the trade (maybe it will grow on me) but Turris played a good first game and I didn't see anything that was a glaring weakness. At least, on the ice.

But lets face it. This team needs help up front and Turris will be given every chance in the world on this team and unlike Filatov, he has actually proven he belongs in the NHL.
