Ummm AFC is very much not set. Only 2 teams have actually clinched playoff spots. The number 6 seed I think is still statistically possible for about half the AFC right now so again I don't think anything is set in stone.

If Baltimore pulls this game out tonight, I think they win the North

Nothing is set. I have a hard time seeing NE securing that 2 spot. Cinn losing, thanks Pitt, certainly helps. A lot will be decided next week for sure. I see Den as the #1, and that is all I can predict now.

The AFC is pretty weak. Denver is the favorite but New England has a chance (because of Brady) and Baltimore has a chance. I think San Diego is playing the best but it looks like it's too late for them.

Nothing at all is set. Actually if the Ravens and Dolphins both win out then it will be the Bengals left out completely.
-If the Dolphins win out and the Pats lose out then Miami wins the east.
-Also if the Bengals and Colts finish with the same record then Cincy is the higher seed based on head to head matchups
-Believe it or not the Ravens still could actually get the 2 seed

The AFC is actually pretty crazy and far from being set

It is very strange the Miami/Cincy/Baltimore dynamic.

They all essentially control their own destiny as of today with 2 games left.

None of them need help thanks to the NFL tiebreakers.

it is very weird for 3 teams fighting for 2 spots to NOT NEED help in anyway.

The Ravens are sort of like the Giants- you can just never rule them out.

Was a Ravens victory tonight in your thinking???

I think he's assuming the Ravens will lose at least one of their last 2 & Miami will win out. I disagree. I think the Ravens win the last 2 & get in (they control their own destiny I think).

I say big brudder John gets back to the SB. I'm hoping it's a rematch of the Harbowl, but I'm not exactly confident anyone's gonna beat Seattle at this point. :hope:

Based on what? The top 3 teams in the NFC.

SEA...2nd yr starter @ QB, playing well, but he's still a 2nd yr guy.
NO...away from home they're a different team
SF...again 2nd yr starter @ QB

I'm not seeing what's so unbeatable about any of those teams.

Good win...61 yarder uh...has some of the good luck from last season on that one.

Brady w/o Gronk is a still Brady, but that OL did not hold up well vs the MIA DL, he was hit a lot....I like your chances in this one.

The best defenses in the league in Seattle, Carolina and San Francisco are what is unbeatable. The QB's don't have to be great when the opponent can't score much.

I think that outside of Seattle, who is clearly the best team in the NFL, the NFC isn't any better than the AFC. The 49ers got smoked at home by the Colts. The Saints are a mess on the road. The Panthers were a controversial final play away from losing at home to the Patriots.

The teams in the NFC are just as flawed as the teams in the AFC.

Yeah, but these DEF are not outstanding, they're very good. Having seen all three teams play, on a neutral field I'm not certain they would win...especially CAR or SF...I think you zone all 3 teams and force the QB to continuously read and deliver the whole game.

I'm with you...the NFC will be favored in the SB most likely because of the DEF as you've said. My pick has been DEN, and I'm a little wobbly on that now, but I can see a team like BAL or KC with a decent DEF themselves and a solid QB making it a game late in the 4Q. I'm not buying weaker.
