My nephews church sells tickets for march madness. The prize pool is pretty large.

1. You scratch off the tickets to reveal 3 teams.
2. You move up the rankings by points scored.
3. obviously your teams need to keep winning to have a shot
4. having higher scoring teams helps too

My 3 teams are Virginia, MSU, Tennessee

thats a pretty good lineup.......would be better if virginia and Tenn werent in the same bracket.

RIght now odds to win the tourney are

Virginia is 3rd
MSU is 6th
TEnn is 9th

oddly dukes odds got worse than pre-tournament.
Purdue and michigan ahead of Tenn as well

Really no way to know without some frame of reference (# of entries, other competitors teams, etc.)
