I'm beginning to once again fear I was right about Harmon tracking the runner and tackling him in the open field...He looks ok helping along the sidelines but coming up with the play in front of him could be a nightmare. Based on his ability to come up and make the tackle last night, I think he might have gone undrafted if they still had a 12 round draft...well maybe Belichick would have still taken him in the 3rd. I think I'm signing Green to the PS to see if I can turn him into a safety.

McCourty was almost as bad tackling but hopefully it's because he's still recovering from his shoulder injury and he'll play better later. When you come up to the line as a safety and you let Bush run right through an arm tackle, what's gonna happen when you have to tackle bigger backs that can run?

If I'm Buffalo I'm salivating over Spiller and Jackson and TE routes in the middle of the Pats defensive backfield.

Who? If this is meant to indicate Aaron Dobson not sure what you are seeing. Once again Kenbreall Thompkins led the team in catches with 8 for 116 yards

Ninkovich had a nice game while he was out there. (just to add another positive)

That was a mess. Their first team defense wasn't actually that bad - keeping it 13-0 and 16-3 is pretty good when the offense turns it over with poor field position over... and over... and over... and they did it without Vince (albeit without having to cover megatron). It should have been more like 28-3 in the first half.

I'm not too worried about the running game. The Lions were crowding the line with 8, 9 and even 10 players at times and it looked like the Pats were in preseason mode running the called plays for evaluation purposes. Brady didn't audible much from what I recall.

Maybe, maybe not but if he didn't then we failed to test that facet of the game. If team stack the box on us then we need audible and this would have been a nice time to test that.
