Been is hospital last few days w intense back pain, they did a CAT scan and found swollen lymph nodes in my pelvis. Could be infection could be Lymphoma (not common but it does pop up sometimes in post transplant patients like myself). Find out after another CAT scan in 1-3 months. Whatever. I'll beat that shit too. Need to live to see the Lions win a Superbowl.

No, but I had a heart transplant 3 years ago and dominated that so I'm not worried about it if that's the case. Worst part is I've got twins on the way so the timing is bad. U of M says I'm the fastest recovering organ transplant patient here ever (surgery on nov 23rd, home Dec 2nd) so maybe I can break a cancer record too. I'm actually really motivated weird as that might sound. Thanks for the kind words.

Chin up man. If it's swollen lymph nodes that could be from a multitude of things- I've had swollen nodes in my left leg since I was in high school, came on all of a sudden and haven't changed a bit in 10+ years. Or they could be swollen because of an infection, like you said.

Just keep an eye on it, and don't be afraid to get a second opinion- 3 months seems like a while to wait for another scan, but then that's just speculation on my part...
