here is what i want to see , i want us to beat the teams we are supposed to and compete with and sometimes beat the upper echelon teams

team records and such will take care of themselves if we can do that

we are in year 2 of the rebuild and we as a team and a fan base should think in those terms

we need some more work at the LOS and the back 7 of the defense

Yeah this is how I see it as well. I know teams do not always do as predicted before the season but a quick look at our schedule is a bit discouraging. Honestly if we can stay in the hunt for the division and Kirk continues to show that he may be the QB moving forward I'm cool because I have no doubt SM will build us a winner.

2016 Washington Redskins home and away opponents

It certainly looks like their schedule will be much tougher next season. They have to play the Bengals, Steelers, Packers, Vikings & play the Panthers again. The Ravens could also be tough & all of the NFC-E teams should be better than the past season. Therefore - it is hard to tell where exactly they will fall record wise.

For me the first sign that things are going well will be if Skinsdad does not predict them to go 6-10 just prior to the start of the season. :D

Our main competition for the division will probably be the Cowboys. The Eagles will be a lot worst this year and the Giants should be the same maybe a game improvement. IF everyone comes back on offense we should have a top 10 offense in the league. This will mean that we should be able to score points with the Cowboys and have another NFC East title. We should benefit again from a weak division. IF Romo goes down again we win the division hands down. I think an 8-8 finish would be enough to win the division in 2016. Two loses in the division and 5 or 6 losses outside the division.

Sounds good but this is the NFL so expect the unexpected. After all - during the last offseason not many picked the Redskins to win the NFC-E or the Cowboys to finish in the basement. Injuries as always are the wildcard.

True but no one knew about KC. Plus Romo being out changed things too. Even with Romo back for Dallas I still believe we have the best offense in the division. We had no running game last year and we still put up points. If Gacon, JAx are back there should be no problems.

Track record says...pretty impossible to predict the NFCE. No matter what, each team plays each other competitively and injuries matter. No clue who will win it, but it likely won't be the one who won it last. Sure would like to change that tho :)
