Seriously, though, if Jones interferes with football decisions, then the Dallas HC job is probably not too attractive to the best qualified candidates. If Jerry is a smart businessman, then it seems that he'd understand that.

Jones is purported to be an excellent business man but it's difficult to gauge. If he owned any other team, he would be crucified. Cowboy fans keep spending money on this average product, no matter that the Boys average 8-8, year after year. I would boycott this bullshit until he finally HAD to produce a winning team.

But yes, I've been saying for years Jerry doesn't want any threats to his status as alpha male. Jimmie and Bill P both left on a sour note. I predict 2-3 more seasons of this before Jerry brings in a real coach, then runs them out of town just as they get to the point of contending so that Jerry can take credit if they win.
