I was outside in subfreezing weather for about a hour tonite bundled up in two shirts, two sweat shirts, and a heavy jacket and it wasn't that bad (my hands froze fast tho). But a lot of those NFL guys took the field with no sleeves for their 30 min of playing time in subfreezing weather in the wild card round. What did you do in the subfreezing cold?

-18 last night with -45 windchill where I live. About 20-24 inches of snow on the ground too.

I spend the better part of 3 months in subzero weather, so I guess I did what I normally do. I tanned on the beach and put a t-shirt on when it got a little chilly in the afternoon.

Not much snow but plenty of subzero action

I should have said subFREEZING, not subzero. It's normally not subzero unless you're going by some Canadian voodoo temperature scheme.

I always find it primitive that whenever these temperatures come around, we're smart enough to figure out that its too dangerous for kids to be out and about so they cancel school but you can go to any old Taco Bell and you'll see 16-18 year olds making you food

It's -32 windchill and I'm about to go get a burrito. Does that make me a bad person? I guess kids really wouldn't be working right now so I should be OK.

California is going to be in serious trouble if we dont' get some snow. We had a forest fire in Big Sur in December.... which is like unheard of. Lowest rain fall total since they have been keeping track in that region this year.

It was in the high 50s when I left for work this morning. I got a couple of goosebumps but no permanent damage.

Wind chill in the NYC was -12 this morning with the actual weather being 5 degrees throughout the morning. Right now it is 10 with a wind chill of -13. Looking forward to our 52 degree weather we will get here over the weekend

Lmao, love it. I'm in Northern(ish) Canada right now. At minus 40 Celsius and Fahrenheit are the same . Global warming, my ass. We just had the largest snowfall accumulation for December around these parts since 1980. Actually, if it would just stay cold, you get somewhat used to it but we get these crazy "chinook winds" that blow in and bring everything up to thawing temp. Then back down to -25 or 30. (that would be minus 13 to 22 back home fellas). Practically balmy.:yahoo:

You mean that barbaric Metric System of theirs? I don't know why they can't handle the Regular System.

I met up with some old friends at a pub to watch the BCSCG. Walked outside, it was damn 19 degrees (it's south carolina, man, not supposed to happen), wind hit me the face - thought I was in damn Manitoba. Not cool (well, you get my point).
