he was hitting well at AAA, let him play and see if he is the catcher of the future or not.

Had one awful game behind the plate with Pettitte but one excellent game with Kuroda the other night. Veteran pitchers don't need a 23yr old holding their hands.

Maybe so. But is that something you would do in the midst of him being the second most valuable offensive player on the team? Or do you let him fall off the cliff first? Hafner earned the everyday against righties role and I can't imagine Wells is just relegated to a righty DH right now

Honest question for Sox fans whove paid attention to this type of thing in the past....

Yankees have the best WINNING PERCENTAGE in the AL East as of today.

So, how does the scoreboard standings at Fenway list the teams today? My guess, Yankees will be listed after both Boston and Batlimore in 3rd... but I could certainly be wrong as I've never bothered looking in an instance like this.
