Unless we're talking NFL. Dog's cover a crazy number... like 62% or so if I remember correctly. Mind you, that's really small potatoes when you bet the amounts I do, but if you were playing $1,000.00 per game / every game / every week for 16 weeks... decent chunk of change.

Of course statistics vary... you might pick the season dogs only cover 52% of the time and lose your ass. That's why I play small... just to keep me interested. You think I get excited about Raiders games any longer?

I almost never bet the spread... I take the money line or I'll stay away from the game.
