Death by inches
Perhaps the most intriguing Big 12 QB battle this offseason.
I'm biased in favor of Thompson, but last season's win over OKST and ISU are to thank. That's not to discredit Delton, who replaced Thompson in the 2nd half of the Cactus Bowl and ran all over UCLA.
Count on Coach Snyder to again ride the wings of both early in the year and eventually roll with the QB who is more effective. The giveaway was probably the fact K-State had both Delton and Thompson on hand during Big 12 media days.
It's also worth noting QB hasn't been the most healthy position for the Cats in recent seasons. Wasn't long ago when a ridiculous amount of injuries forced WR Kody Cook to line up under center for K-State.
