While this may be needed I sure hope they let the new GM and HC make these decisions. If I were the new GM, I know the first person i go see is Trent Williams. For all that are pissed at him, you need to put emotions aside and realize that this team needs him. He is a pro bowl caliber LT who is actually pretty cheap. We also have no alternative. We need him next year to protect a young QB we are trying to develop and give us some breathing room to find his replacement in 2021. It is a smart business decision. Also, don't loose sight of the fact that Trent was probably very instrumental in Allen getting the boot. His position was one of the last straws for Allen.
