If I remember right they tried putting Swearinger at FS in Houston and he failed. I wouldn't trust him in centerfield. He is much better up close and in the running game. We still don't have that ballhawk safety. This is why I like Budda Baker.

I wanted this guy in the draft. He is a SS along with Cravnes. So Baker in the first round as a fs would make sense.

Many of us did back in 2013. He was signed to a pretty good deal. It looks like our safety tandem will be much improved with him and Su'a Cravens in the defensive backfield. Btw, Swearinger is a FS.

I don't trust him in center field. That is why he got released in Houston. I know he plays both spots. He is a huge hitter.
