Even if he is cleared, it would be a bad idea to go into game one with him as the #2 unless we plan on activating all three QBs. If Im the coach for the Dolphins and the Skins roll out with just Cousins and RG3 active, IM not telling my guys to hurt Cousins per say, but I am telling them to do what they can within the rules to ensure that the Skins find a reason to install the backup who the game plan likely does not fit in any way shape or form.

Apparently they are going to wait to make the call on QB2 for the Miami game until later this week. As of now that job is Colts.

So an injury settlement has been reached with Evan Spencer and he is now a free agent. Can't be signed by the Skins (even if he or the team wanted to) for 6 weeks.

Without an owner or high level personnel person coming out to confirm the NFLPA's claim, the courts will never allow this suite to gain traction. And no owner, including Danny, is willing to commit franchise suicide in this manner. The Skins stand the most to gain in this situation, because imagine what would happen if we were suddenly handed back $36 million ( plus damages) in cap space say going into next season. This would make the RG3 contract a non issue as any smart lawyer would likely claim damages in the amount of $36 million on top of what was taken, then settle it for half that.

Also take into account that Collusion if proven falls into a federal racketeering charge. No way in hell are they going to expose the owners of the NFL to a max 20 year federal beef. The best the players and the Skins can hope for out of this is leverage in the NEXT CBA negotiations. And that is iffy at best.

Even if Danny and Jerry refused to participate in the alleged collusion, they would both also be subject to the Rico act and would be charged with obstruction of justice for not reporting it in the first place. Mara and Godell played this one very well and covered all their bases.

The best way for us to get back at Mara is to win a Lombardi while making sure we make the Giants look stupid in the process.

As bad as we are expected to be by most, I think the Giants are going to be a dumpster fire by mid season.
