The Washington Redskins boasted of a new aggressive look under first-year defensive coordinator Joe Barry. That aggressiveness does not always include sending extra rushers.

In the season opener, the Redskins only did so five times -- that's fewer than all but one game in the past four years, according to ESPN Stats & Information. And that game, vs. St. Louis last season, stemmed from having too many new parts in the secondary thanks to injuries.

Whether or not this continues, we'll find out over the next several weeks.

But it wouldn't be surprising to see the Redskins stick with their four-man rush for the time being. It's not as if Miami quarterback Ryan Tannehill chewed them up with this look, averaging only 6.43 yards per pass attempt, getting sacked twice and posting an 81.7 passer rating.

And keep in mind that Rams quarterback Nick Foles was blitzed eight times by Seattle. He completed 5 of 6 passes with a touchdown and a 151.8 passer rating.
