Roster is at 54 right now, skins picked Frank Kearse back up yesterday and keep Plummer on the roster so far and only Amerson dropped.

Culliver was already on the 53 so the Kearse for Amerson should keep them at 53, no? Plummer was added last week and Kearse dropped to stay at 53.

It's a bit confusing because of the adds, drops and reinstatement for Cully. I'm wrong saying 54 because technically skins have until 4pm to adjust to 53.

I don't think Cully counts towards the 53 until reinstatement.

Glad to see this. Hope this is a solid guy but can't imagine Alfred choosing someone different. Al Mo needs and deserves to be well represented.

Matt Jones looked so studly in Week 2 (highlights here)—and his upside in this run-first Redskins offense now seems so high—that I actually feel compelled to point out two key limitations so that we all don’t just start assuming he’ll be Offensive Rookie of the Year. But he might.

1. He has small hands. In fact, bizarrely small for his size. The importance of this measurement is debatable but I’m in the camp that thinks it’s only logical for shorter fingers to be relatively more fumble-prone. At 8 5/8″, Jones somehow tied for the second-smallest hands at the 2015 Combine. (The only smaller hands belonged to diminutive fellow Redskin Trey Williams at 8 1/4″.) He did fumble five times in 316 touches at UF (which isn’t great) and of course lost what could have been a killer fumble against the Rams. So ball security is something to keep an eye on.
   
2. He gets injured. Nothing big so far in his young pro career, but in college he was constantly hurt and in myriad ways. In 2011, he tore his left MCL and missed four games of his senior (high school) season. At UF, he missed part of 2013 fall camp while recovering from a nasty viral infection; that one seems pretty random but he lost a lot of weight and the absence was extended. When he got back, he tore his left meniscus, requiring two surgeries. After all that, he missed time for a sprained ankle, recurrent knee swelling, and a shoulder injury that kept him out of a bowl game. You can argue whether it is even possible to be “injury prone” but if it is, he is.

These reminders aren’t intended to stamp out your flaming lust for this gorgeous rookie, merely to lend perspective.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to take a cold shower.
