That was my first take. Then I thought about competition and depth. And I don't think it would necessarily stop them from drafting a RB in later rounds. At first glance I'd pass. I like Redd Jr and if they really want to go that route I'd rather see them pick up a young back from the draft.
How is his blocking?hard runner, when he holds the ball hes great. problem is, his hands are buttered.
great locker room guy too, works his ass off.
decentHow is his blocking?
decent
not great, but he CAN block..much improved in his time here.
the guy runs like his life depends on it
doesnt catch well tho, id be shocked if he had over 30 grabs here
Full on what????????
No idea what youre referring to.
This makes no sense to me. Ridley cant catch and is coming of an acl. So many backs in the draft no need to sign a veteran back who is hurt. I don't get it.
Maybe I can help Dean, Remember the pledge to go to a power rushing attack? Well, if you consider Morris' stature, he could very well be lacking the size and strenght that fits into SM nor Bill Calahan's vision of what the team requires. Hence a bigger back is invited for a visit. We all know that Ammo is really good in the zone blocking scheme, but can he carry the load as a power back? Right now, it's just a look.....see, but I am convinced that there is a plan and everyone is on board with that plan. The evaluations have been done and fortunately or unfortunately for fans of certain players, if a particular favorite no longer fits into that plan, he's history. This makes no sense to me. Ridley cant catch and is coming of an acl. So many backs in the draft no need to sign a veteran back who is hurt. I don't get it.
I like Ajayi too. He can be a franchise back. Morris is a FA next year and is going to want to get paid. If he has a decent season this year he is going to want 5-6 mil per season. For a 2 down back. I don't think so.
Just curious guys......Let's say that the team does indeed Draft Ajayi and he comes in and leaves everyone gushing over his skills and he wins the starting job. What do you do with Morris?
IM still wondering... if we are supposed to take a pass rusher in the first round, and now a RB in the second round... exactly when are we supposed to find a starter for the O-line. Or are we supposed to band aid the position yet again and then make excuses for why it wasnt the Qbs fault when the offense sucks again??
Or have we resigned ourselves to the Cardale Jones hunt in 2016??
