Its probably a 3rd. We have 2 3rd round picks. He is not a one-year rental. Nice move. Hopefully he gets healthy soon.
Any idea what his contract terms are?

What is Marshon Lattimore’s cap hit and dead money looking like?
Lattimore’s contract would be easy for another team to take on in a trade. His cap hit the rest of the 2024 season would be a prorated portion of his $1.21 million base salary. The rest of his cap hit for this season includes signing and option bonus money previously paid out. He is due $18 million in total 2025 pay and $18.5 million in total 2026 pay, but none of that is guaranteed, per Over The Cap.

A 4x pro bowl cb at a position of need for a top 100 pick and change and we have 2 more years of him is a trade that I can live with .

The issue is he has missed 19 games the last 2 years

We addressed a need and not a new toy

I had looked up the cap hit the Saints would take for this and figured they would never do that. Still not sure why they would. The cost is a bit higher than I would have liked but this guy is a star at by far the biggest need on this team. Hopefully this makes the entire defense better.

I hope the plan is to move BSJ to the bench. I keep Sainristil on the outside for now and Igbinoghene in the slot.

I draft a corner in the 1st or 2nd next year and then move Sainristil to the slot.

I trust BSJ to cover, I just don't trust him to not commit a back breaking PI.

Maybe he's lockdown when lined up against #2 WRs. Can't wait to see what Whitt Jr. decides to do.
