Really it all depends on RAK.

Here's a "what if" though. What happens if we draft a Demarcus Lawrence after signing RAK to a long-term deal? And what happens if he is unblockable?

Do we then deal Kerrigan if we can get a first?

I think if we draft Lawerance or Attachau at 34 it would mean that Rak will not get his long term deal that he is seeking. We still have Brandon Jenkins on the roster. He could be a very good player for us.

Yes but his price will be outrageous. I think something is up if we take a olb at 34 regardless of what happens in the 2014 season.

His price would around what he got franchised for. Kerrigan's price will be high as well but the real question is which one is better because I would not pay both.

You are going to pay Rak 11 mil per season? If we draft an olb at 34 that would be crazy. I rather have Kerrigan he would cost less, not as injury prone as rak, and is younger. Plus I doubt Rak has 15 sacks this year with Hatcher, Kerrigan, and possibly a rookie. They are looking at olb for a reason.

IF RAK were to put up 15 sacks this season because it would be the first time he had an interior rush since his rookie season then yes he would get 11 mil/season. Would I rather pay RAK 11 mil/season over Kerrigan at 9 mil/season...yes I would.

Of course they are looking at OLB for a reason. It's probably where the value will be and it's insurance because we are going to lose either RAK or Kerrigan.

i would keep both . i would want to break up that tandem

jenkins is unproven , jackson is a BU and a draft pick may or may not be the answer
