As much as this loss sucks, there is at least the fact that we moved up to #14 in the draft. Some players I'd like to see us draft in each of the first couple rounds, listed in order of who I'd like to see most

First round
Darqueze Dennard, CB Michigan State (assuming Tillman isn't resigned)
HaHa Clinton-Dix, S Alabama
Stephon Tuitt, DE Notre Dame
Louis Nix, DT Notre Dame

Second Round
Morgan Breslin, DE USC
Will Sutton, DT Arizona State
Michael Sam, DE Mizzouri

Third Round
Curtis Drummond, S MSU (Steal of the draft if we can get him here)

If Tillman were to change his mind about playing safety, and we can get Dennard and Drummond, I think we could have a legitimate top 10 secondary. I know the stats were pretty solid this year, but the blown coverage and safety play this year has been just awful. Fuck you Chris Conte.

We will go to Philly again though. They feel like a divisional opponent at this point. We play them almost every year.

Unless we're bringing back DJ Williams. I actually think I'd like to go MLB in the first round, then safety and DE in the second/third. Sign a CB. Sign a DE. Maybe a safety too.

I have a feeling Emery is going to make a splash with a big defensive FA signing. Kind of seems like his style.

Yeah, jeez. I was all backwards when I was posting in here earlier. I meant we would have played PHI and SEA had we WON. Now, we go to Dallas and host San Fran. Dallas will likely be rebuilding... and SF might be beatable at home if we shore up our D. Obviously, that's all ways away.
