I think Royster and Thompson are gone. I think Silas will do more for us than Royster does. Just my opinion.

Either way the penn state fans will be happy. Unless they disowned redd when he jumped.

Redd was one of the bright spots during the whole Sandusky scandal, so can't really blame the young man for bolting for what seemed like brighter pastures in LA. I know he was so so while at USC, but he was an up and coming stud at PSU. If he would have stayed there, JMO, he wouldn't have gone undrafted. He's a good young prospect with some promise, but we'll have to see how he pans out.

We only keep three backs. The battle is between Thompson and Seastruck. This guys looks slow. Maybe practice squad material.

Silas has potenial no doubt. He looks more like a down hill runner on the video. Has some good spin moves and kinda hard to tackle. Looks like he has a good lower body also. I beleive he will bring some good competition to our group of RB's.

if we keep 4 backs he could be inn the mix . also the PS could be an option .

helu may not resign next year so who knows ?

thompson , to me , doesnt have a chance with 3 season ending injuries in a row . i dont mind taking the 5th round flier on him but i cant see how he can be trusted to be healthy

disowned. Royster was the best back in our history (statwise) and from what I can tell, has never had a shot in Washington.

Yes Royster has never been given a chance. I was wondering if Nittany nation still liked/claimed Redd even though he left. I'm not a penn state fan even though I live close enough and I didn't blame any of the guys that left.

Silas had a very good sophomore year at Penn State -- things didn't go as well for him after he left. No telling how things would have gone for him under O'Brien although I know he wanted Redd to stay.

I remember when they made such a big deal about him leaving. I don't blame him, either. I like his ability, but not nearly as much as Seastrunk's, but I believe Thompson and Royster are in trouble.
