He's playing like crap today but he just hit one of the best shots I've ever seen him make. Terrible position, think he was 20-30 yards from the flag. Delofts the shit out of whatever he had in his hand, and puts it like 70 feet in the air and drops it like 6 inches away. Just unreal.

It was a helluva shot...in Phil like fashion...because he was on a uphill slope, that was turning that LW into a super LW, probably 70 deg...so he knew he had to swing hard and it looked like a full swing...dropped like a sack a flour.

Lot of luck in that one, but very cool to see it.

Too bad he couldn't get out of the water on the 6th hole, totally ruined his round.

I'll say this much, he had a GREAT flop shot back on 6th on Saturday from off the green. Went about 80 feet in the air, landed within 3 feet away from cup... Standing right there.. Though back was turned, had to keep crowd quiet
