E:60 to feature Richard Sherman; and Sherman to be a guest analyst on NFL Network

The Seahawks may be off this weekend. But you’ll be able to see Seattle cornerback Richard Sherman in a couple of different spots over the next few days.

Here are details. First, on an upcoming special featuring Sherman on ESPN:

E:60 Fall Season Premieres Tuesday with Profiles of Chiefs Running Back Jamaal Charles and Seahawks Cornerback Richard Sherman

ESPN’s award-winning newsmagazine, E:60, makes its Fall season premiere on ESPN Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 8 p.m. with two in-depth NFL features, on Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles and Richard Sherman, the Seattle Seahawks outspoken cornerback.

Three-time Pro Bowl running back Charles is the heartbeat of the Kansas City offense and one of the top performers in the league. E:60’s Jeffri Chadiha helps unveil a different side of Charles, one who holds a heavy heart as he talks in-depth, for the first time, about one of the NFL’s most tragic cases of domestic violence. His wife’s cousin Kasandra Perkins was murdered by her husband – his teammate – Jovan Belcher, who subsequently killed himself. Chadiha tells the story of an athlete few people know, a kid from a large Texas family who fought through obstacles and pain to become one of the best backs in the NFL. Click HERE for a preview clip of the Jamaal Charles profile.

He led the NFL in interceptions and brashness in 2013, but for All-Pro cornerback Richard Sherman it’s not enough to anchor Seattle’s “Legion of Boom” defense; he strives to be the league’s best trash-talker, too. His rant about 49ers receiver Michael Crabtree after the NFC title game made him a social media punching bag, but Sherman shrugged it off and signed a $57.4 million contract extension. Astride the game, Sherman recounts for E:60 his journey, from Los Angeles’ Compton neighborhood to Stanford to draft-day snub to the mouth-that-roared, and ultimately, to Super Bowl champion.

In upcoming shows, E:60 will feature profiles of Cam Newton, Gerald McCoy, Rob Ryan, Jason Witten, Max Scherzer and Randy Johnson, among others.

And here are details of Sherman’s guest appearance Sunday on the NFL Network:

Hope all is well. I wanted to let you know that Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman will be an in-studio guest analyst on NFL Network’s NFL GameDay Morning this Sunday, starting at 6:00 AM PT. Sherman will join host Rich Eisen and analysts Marshall Faulk, Steve Mariucci, Kurt Warner, Warren Sapp and Michael Irvin.
