Shelby Harris Appreciation Thread

Who could not like this guy? He is - in my mind - the key acquisition by the Hawks. From a regular roster cut around the league - he made himself into a top DE and a guy who could threaten double digit passes defended.

I'm sorry to see him go. Maybe the Broncos will play McTeven Agim instead of just teases us with his talents.

For Shelby - he gets the tip of the hat - the handshake and the autograph request for my special friend @Draft Crazy.

You gotta love Shelby Harris. Raiders draft him, cut him. We bring him in as a long shot. He kills it in PS... He was a great addition, he hit FA he re-signs on a 1 year deal turning down other offers, we are happy we think we have him back for just one more year but we will take it. He then re-signs longer term...

Nobody bats a ball down like Shelby Harris. Well loved teammate. Goofball.

He lost some consistency the past two season but he still played very well. Seemed like he would have 2 really good games then maybe sorta lackluster for 2-3 games. He finished the season well and I will miss the FG blocks and batted down ball. I truly think he is the best batted down DL of all time. His superhero power.

Shelby will be missed as he was one of the guys that seemed to take over an active leadership role when Von was traded. He is also a guy that is easy to root for given the path he took to being a fantastic player.

One of the standout Broncos of the past decade, it was always reassuring to see 96 on the field

The best thing about Shelby Harris other then his play of course was the fact I could taunt my Raiders friend since they drafted him and cut him and he ended up here and playing well past his draft slot. I will miss that.
