There needs to be a thread for updates on Shavon so we'll just do that here.

One of the worst falls I've seen in a basketball game in quite a while. I was shitting in my pants when he wasn't moving at all.

So as of right now we know he's conscious and can move everything. He's not paralyzed, that is the most important thing. Concerns now of course are how badly he may be concussed.

Just saying prayers he can continue to play at some point and go after his dream.

Miles said he didn't play Benny the rest of the game because he wasn't in the right frame of mind.

Released from the hospital...CT scan negative. He will go through the concussion protocol. Looks like he's gonna be okay.

When I had a very similar thing happen to me a few years ago (with the exception that I wasn't playing basketball and it was alcohol related) I was unconscious for about 2 minutes and then woke up with a massive concussion. The doctor wouldn't let me work out for 1 week.

I'm guessing he'll be out a couple games for precautionary reasons. There is absolutely no way in hell they'll let him play at Wisconsin on Wednesday.

RA's got nothing going on tonight and his TV is working fine.

That's what he's really telling us.

Shavon has "not been ruled out" for the game tomorrow night against tOSU.

But he only partially participated in practice today and Miles says they're still dealing with some "real health issues."

The way it sounds to me Shavon is not mentally ready to hit the court at full speed just yet, though he physically could in all likelihood.

PBA is gonna have to be rocking. We can't lose this one.
