Watson would have kept his job if we had beat Oklahoma and cruised past U-conn for sure, but he didn't. Injuries happen and you're supposed to adjust. They didn't.

Watson will claim he had a plan B for when Taylor got injured, sure, but his plan B didn't work. That's why he's the quarterbacks coach for a mid-major program in a bottom of the barrell A.Q. conference.

I'm a pretty big Cody Green supporter but that kid needs to hold onto the football. Needs to find his beast mode or something.

We will all find out at summers end if Watson deserved the duncecap alot of fans crowned him with, including myself.

One thing needs clarification though, I don't believe, for one second, that Bo would ever replace a coach because fans were unhappy about it. I suspect he'd prefer to cut off his own arm before letting that happen. Maybe the Lincoln and/or Omaha sports writers want to write about that, but I don't buy it for a second.

Tim Beck is Bo's guy and now he's going to get his chance. Here's hoping the offense makes opponent defenses cry this year.

I agree. The one thing that a healthy T-Mart did was take Watons play calling out of the game. Cause if things didn't happen quickly enough T-Mart would just pull it down and use his legs. T-Mart was the one making the judgement adjustments on the spot. And some of that was made cause too many of our guys that the number was called for to catch the ball were not getting the attention from Watson at practice that they needed and they finally manned up and took on the extra practice themselves, and it showed big time in a positive way. So glade Watson is gone.

But because I do not know much about the new OC I feel a bit shaky or uncomfortable about what the O will be doing. Just the new coach stuff. lol

I know that if TO would have been coaching there would not have been the problems with the O like there was under Watson. HE would have made sure the kids were getting all the instruction, training, building up and also being held accountable that they needed. Here is hoping that Bo made the right moves on O. If he did just about everyone in the country will have to watch out for us.

Ankle sprains can be much much much more severe than you think.

I used to have the, 'tape it and play it' mentality, until i did that, came back in re-sprained it again, went back in, sure enough sprained the inside as well . Regardless, high ankle sprains are the terrible to deal with, and they take a LONG time to heal
