Poor stiff in net for Vancouver. First game ever and gives up 3 goals on 4 shots and pulled after 7 minutes - lol.
Sharks usually make newbies like this look like Vezina winners.

Even though they lead they have reverted back to their old lazy selves overall. Got some easy goals and starting sitting back and playing prevent D. Too early for that. 3-1 now. Lots of time.

Well after that bit of a slip in the early part of the 2nd period they finished very strong since the 1st Nieto goal that made it 4-2. Another Nieto goal now and that is two pretty good back to back games.

Nah Markstrom was a panther prospect that was going to be the goalie of the future but got shellacked every night then came to vancouver in the louongo trade to a town that crucifies goalies lol it was just his season debut

Stellar album... learned that one back and forward. Probably the best album to jam on since Iron Maiden 'peace of mind' and Van Halen Fair Warning.

Anyways, speaking of metal and the Sharks. Sharks use 'Seek and Destroy' to come out of the Shark mouth every game. I would love it more if they used Accept's 'Fast as a Shark'. The Shark comes down when the oompa loompa music starts and then they all fly out of the mouth when the record scratches and Udo screams 'aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah'. Fits in perfect with a German owner. That tune rocks. Comcast figured it out in one of their commercials a few years ago using 'Fast as a Shark' as the background theme.
