If he runs 4.6 to 4.8 at the combine he might not be there when we pick. besides Williams, Ray is the best defensive player in this draft. I cant see how Rak would be coming back. lol

Two things.

1. Free Agency comes before the draft

2. As enticing as Ray might be, the team does have bigger holes.

So for the right price I could see them talking to Rak and bringing him back. After all, how many of us thought Dallas would resign Spencer this last season??

What's the right price? It's my bet that there are a couple of teams that will be willing to pay him more than we will.

IM sure there will be a couple of teams willing to pay him more. IM just hoping the team doesnt compound the mistake of franchising him by now letting him walk and once again creating yet another hole that will still need filling.

Fun fact, can any one name the Broncos starting center this past weekend??

Rak is going to want at least 6 mil per season. No way!! Ray would be the BPA at #5. Especially if he dominates the combine.

He will get that on the open market. He's a multiple PB player and only 28. Just not sure he's worth that to us at our stage of a rebuild.

I bet he ends up in Dallas.

SO we draft Ray and STILL dont address the Offensive line which every one has screamed about?? I realize you arent a huge Rak fan, but I would rather Resign Rak and concentrate on fixing the line rather than Draft Ray and listen to another year of mass bitching on how we continually ignore the O-line.

Dallas has to sign Murray and Bryant. How are they going to have the money for Rak? Rak is injury prone his price should drop. The combine means a lot. Amerson for example.

Shark the oline could be fixed in FA or in the 2nd round. We just cant give up on Long and Moses.

If Long cant start at RG next year something is seriously wrong. I hope we just release Chester.

Moses sucked ass and wont even be ready for training camp. We have been trying to fix the O-line via Free Agency for seven years now. There are at best 5 day one starting OT in this draft. And by starting I mean day one legit starters, not guys who will start because their team has no choice. I would much rather see us draft another true starter for the O-line than to add to the LB corp because we were disappointed in Orakpo.

You do realize that as of this moment we only have 2 OTs under contract for 2015 total... and one of those is on IR and likely wont even see the field until mid way through training camp if lucky.

If we somehow sign Bulaga then the oline is fixed. Williams, Lenvo, Lich, Long, and Bulaga. Backups Moses and Ribeye. Why in the world would you want Rak back?? Plus we can get a RT in round two if we don't get Bulaga.

First I would want him back because I think he is a better player than you give him credit for. Granted he comes with some injury risk. But that should make him actually affordable.

Secondly, If Bulaga is as good as some of you say... why in the hell would the Packers let him hit the market?? They have $10 million more in cap space than we do. Sorry bro, IM just not seeing this line of thinking as more than anything to allow us to make the Ray pick. So unless we are going to over pay Doug Free, or King Dunlap... Shane ray should be nothing more than a trade down chip in our eyes.

Very possible the Packers get Bulaga back. There is no OT worth a top 10 pick someone said that I don't know who. We can get one in the 2nd round. As for Rak what do you think he will cost in FA? You don't pass up stud pass rushers for RT. I don't care who is on our team.
