Being a healthy scratch in a must win game doesn't look good on the resume, does it ...

Way to go Mr First Rounder

Ray has been a disappointment most of his career. Maybe if he had a bit more of a chip on his shoulder he would have made the most out of his talent.

If it wasn't for the free agent compensation possibility he may have cut him by now.

If he puts him on IR with no injury that can come back to haunt him. NFL could look into it. Now if he sprains his ankle or something at this point of the season, then he could find a way.

Shane Ray has battled so many injuries, really a huge stunt in his development. He showed flashes his 2nd year, but he really showed nothing last year although unhealthy. Limited opportunity this year.

I think he needs a fresh start. Not rooting against him, but he needs to understand why he was a healthy scratch this late in the year.

Guy is a great story how he even made it to football in the first place... Really rooted for him, felt we may have had a steal at 23 with him. Just didn't work out that way here.

I liked Ray when we drafted him, and for a while back on KFFL, I had his pic as my av ..

It went downhill after he got that arrowhead tattoo - AFTER the Broncos drafted him - and disappearing on the field didn;t help either ..

It shouldn;t really matter, but it does .. I understand, you're from the area, blah blah blah - but the Chiefs' logo is one of probably a million things that might represent the city .. There's gotta be some other options ..

or get it AFTER you retire

If he had it while in school, that's different .. If your wife gets another guy's name tattooed on her after you are married --- "oh, but he was my first love" --

We should have cut his sorry ass back then

Completely unrelated, but in keeping with players I really don't like

I am no fan of Cam, but it was painful to watch him try to throw Monday night ... geeesh, it reminded me of when Shanahan kept RGIII in that game

His Wrist should be reason enough to put him on IR. He has not done Crap since it has been that way.

I get it there are money involved and rules.

2015 draft was not good. I think Heurerman was the only one that contributed this year.

Yeah we have known that for a few years now.

Probably my last favorite draft of ours when it happened. Was happy with Ray but that sucked. Hated the Sambrailo and Heuerman picks. Been happy the last two but last years bombed, this years has been good this far. Knock on wood.

I still think Ray can be a very good football player, but not for us

Bradley Roby made a comment today that he wants to return to Denver after this year.

And I hope he does. He has all the physical tools to be star, he seems like he loses his confidence at times, which is a death blow for cb’s. It’s one of the many reasons I wanted Talib back this year, Roby needs to learn how to capture his attitude on the field

I’m always rooting for Roby! I’d love to see him turn into a consistent player, just gotta be careful not tobget into a bidding war. I’d live to see him on a one year deal. But i feel someone will over pay him.

I like Shane Ray and Roby but it's obviously time for Ray to move on. Roby seems to have regressed but hopefully, he's able to regain his strong performance from year's past. I would definitely like to see the Broncos keep him.

CB is tough position. You really have to consistently be a student of the game if you want to be great. Roby is blessed athletically, probably more so than Harris. But Harris knows where to “be”, and I watched an interview with Harris, and how he studies his opponents and all their “tells” so to speak. He broke down his opponents tendencies fron the moment they lined up

All Roby proved this year is that he's a great CB if you have 2 other great CB's ahead of him. If he's one of the 2 main men you're relying on you're screwed.

Speaking of the 2015 draft -

Broncos sign CB Craig Mager ... He was a third rounder in 2015, chosen by the Bolts

Listed at 5'11" 200 lbs .... He's had some trouble staying healthy

Broncos sign CB Craig Mager

I would like to have Roby to return if possible but to compete with Yiadom for the #2 spot and the other being the #3. Both would play a ton of snaps.

I have been impressed with how Yiadom has progressed.
