Cheering for the Broncos...because of Sherman. Seriously.

He was alot more eloquent on the second interview.
And remember, ther e is a pretty good reason for him to have had a chip on his shoulder going into this game.
As mentioned earlier in the thread, Harbaugh (Sherman's coach at Stanford) was talking him down going into the draft. Good for the Hawks to be able to pick him up in the 5th round (and pay him less than a half-schmill).

here's Doug Baldwin and Richard Sherman, winning for Harbaugh.

Turrible.

/Idiots in every stadium.

True and there are idiots on every team. Unfortunately maybe Sherman wasn't the best choice for Fox to go after for an interview after a highly emotional game.

Very, very true and we all know FOX wanted nothing but Sherman at that point knowing full well whatever came out of his mouth would just sound very bad and cause a stir with folks like us.

That was an exciting game. Congrats to the Seahawks. Broncos & Seahawks should make for a great Super Bowl.

I've said it for weeks, Colin Kaepernick sucks in the clutch, and it was funny how everyone talked him up - he crumbles in big spots - he's the reason the 49ers can't win a Super Bowl

his legs were the reason they had any chance at all.

You can't win with just your legs, you have to make throws in this league and he can't do it in the clutch - he's so overhyped - he was terrible in parts of the regular season - he'll come up with some big plays here and there but he's too much of a hit or miss guy

Hey its like wrestling now!

lol, its the first thing I thought of. It really seemed like the regional old wrestling interviews they would do when coming to local arenas. Erin Andrews is no Mean Gene though. Shes a bit hotter though.

Fantastic game! Congrats to the Seahawks fans. Right now I am thinking its going to be a good SB.

excellent article on Sherman. He's a little deeper than the 10 second sound bite
Whether you think cornerback Richard - 07.29.13 - SI Vault

page 3 alludes to Harbaugh burying him in college.
Through the first eight games of 2007, Sherman was Stanford's leading receiver, with 36 catches for 635 yards. But in the ninth game, against Washington, he caught just two passes for 11 yards and was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct while covering a punt. Senior receiver Evan Moore challenged Sherman on the sideline to control his emotions, prompting a shoving match, and Harbaugh suspended Sherman for the following game. He caught just one pass for five yards the remainder of the season.

ironically, Sherman switched to defense in college to get out from under Harbaugh's control.

Lesson not learnt.

How ironic can one get...Harbaugh suspending a player for not being able to keep his emotions in check. That's like Bane getting cast out of the League of Shadows for being too extreme.

Andrews deserves a lot of credit for handling that interview the way she did. The sad thing about the incident is that the media sites are spending 90% of the time talking about Shermans meltdown and the rest of the time talking about not one but TWO great games that took place yesterday.

Yes I'm an old fella but the game should be the front story and not the modern day athletes that feel the interviews are for self promotion. This is one of the reasons I stopped watching the NBA a while ago and I see the NFL headed in the same direction. Thank god hockey players are more team first guy's and I hope they stay that way.

Call me old fashion or whatever but I'd rather hear a classy Brady or Manning talking about how he and his team mates executed the game plan to win or the mistakes they made for a loss and not how they won because of how great they are.
