I the play Kaep got sacked by Jordan, Davis wasn't even trying to get open. Instead he was engaged with the defender like he was blocking? This reminds me of the coaches film thread where none of our WR are coming back to the ball when the QB needs them too, and the fact that they always seem to run the wrong routes and have multiple receivers in the same area. Either our passing plays are so damn simple that there are no hot routes, or our WR are just that bad.

Noticed that too and on another play Boldin jogged about 5 yards down field and didn't really run a route.

People can say what they want about the lack of receivers but a good quarterback needs to make those players around him better. They should not have to overcome the QBs shortcomings like the 49ers do.
