SF Giants Final Four

Over the next week or so, I want to have a semi-controlled discussion about the last four Giants WS teams (2012, 2010, 2002, 1989).

I want to do this in a Final Four format. I figured I would start by seeding the seasons...

1 - 2012 (won in a sweep)
2 - 2010 (won in 5)
3 - 2002 (lost in 7)
4 - 1989 (got swept)

We will start with 2012 vs 1989. We will have a discussion, then after a few days, I will open a poll for voting. Each person can decide whether they are judging based on the season, the WS itself, or just fandom. But please offer up any arguments to bring light to the differences.

I will create the 2012 vs 1989 thread probably tomorrow.
