With Burrell already here, I suppose that's all we would expect. Maybe Peguero?
Well, of course there's Surkamp, who will start next week. I wouldn't expect Peguero to be up until the AA playoffs are over.
I would be SHOCKED if Peggy does not get the call this month. Maybe he doesn't play, but he will be around to soak it in.
Surprised to not see Runz, though. I am completely ignorant about the minor league playoff pictures, though, so I assume there are a few guys being held back for that...

Cal (and others), what can you tell us about Peguero? And what's his ceiling?
Apparently he damn athletic and can run balls down in the outfield.

Minor leaguers can't be recalled until 10 days after they are optioned to the minors. Therefore, Surkamp and Runzler can't be recalled until September 6th and Chez3 can't be recalled until September 4th.
Duh...
too obvious for any of us lug nuts to realize...
He is a 5-tooler, but at the VERY lowest part of the spectrum of a 5-tooler. I don't LOVE this analogy, but I think fits close enough to mention again...
Mike Aldrete...
Basically, a guy who could be a #3 or #4 OF for a good long time in the Majors. A good guy to produce from the system, but not a guy you change plans for.
Aldrete again? He was not really an outfielder, but rather just another light hitting first-baseman forced to the OF to find AB. He was short-legged, stocky, and not athletic. Don't get me wrong I was a big Aldrete fan, but he's the last guy I'd think of when trying to find a comparison for a wiry athletic outfielder.
And at the plate, Aldrete would take a walk, Peguero never does.
I just have to wonder...as Sabean and Bochy look back on the disaster that was the Giants offense...and an offense anchored by aging vets....maybe some of the kids get more AB's next year...
Well, yeah...Burrell and Ross will be gone so LF likely Belt. Crawford likely SS.
We will be pretty young actually if we start Nate,Belt,Crawford, Posey, and Panda.
We could be even younger depending on who is playing CF. Only old guys left will be Huff and Franchez.
I know Brown is a couple years away...but it would be nice to have a speedy CF who can steal bases and take pitches...
Hopefully the Panda keeps the weight off...Posey comes back healthy and Belt lives up to expectations. Solid middle of the order...
