Getting over 50 wins in a 4 year stretch is really impressive, hats off to Clemson, Bama and Ohio State.

Getting under 10 wins in a 4 years stretch is also really impressive, hats off to Kansas and Rutgers.

Interesting that the Big 10 & the Pac-12 each had 3 teams with under 20 wins apiece, while the Big 12 & SEC had one each, and the ACC had none.

Not to go "there", but UNC, Vandy, and Ole Miss almost assuredly would have been under 20 if those conferences played 9 games. Syracuse, potentially, as well.

The larger point is that every so often, we hear so-and-so QB has 44 wins or whatever, when everyone knows teams play 3-5 more games than they used to each season.
Are they purposely misleading for all the simpletons out there? Is it simply too much work to provide statistically valid fun facts?
