I listened to you. I've heard it from other places as well. I think you're confusing listening with respect. We listen to you... we don't RESPECT you. Get it straight!

Who is alleged to be involved. I just don't know if I see him getting moved at all now with Fehr gone.

It is less pressing now and may not happen before the season starts. However, I don't see him making it to Christmas in Washington unless we see a big change in his style. Rene Bourque is the name I hear the most. Ted, George and Bruce have the cap space to give him one last tryout, however.

I said Calgary was a possibility a week ago. One player I've read the Caps want is Rene Bourque.

What I don't understand is if the Caps are going for the Cup why would they trade Semin? Ovechkin can't do all the scoring & as we saw during this past postseason Backstrom didn't do much.

The idea is to go defensive. Get rid of the defensive liability, injury prone, and inconsistent player and bring in guys who are the opposite. I would have much rather fehr been kept then, but fehr would always be in Bruce's dog house. I agree that scoring might be an issue if we do trade semin, but it depends on who we get back and whatnot.
