Wichita State with the 8th best odds to win the tournament, simply incredible. And I mean that as far as them being a 10 seed with those kids of odds.

There's part of me that says they were under valued this season and especially by the NCAA Tourney committee, but honestly the last several years they were over rated.

Yes. They were controversial because a couple of weeks earlier he missed free throw shots in a loss. These shots redeemed him.

I remember those old ESPN spots with Chris Farley, where he "re-enacted" famous tournament moments, like Robinson's free shots and Laettner's bucket to beat Kentucky. Those were hilarious. That's pretty much the only reason I remember Rumeal!

I think they are extremely hard to judge based on who they've played. They lost all 4 games they played this season to teams that made the tournament by an average of 11.5 ppg. The one counter to that, is that they were all played very early in the season while trying to figure things out. Since then they've looked extremely impressive beating the crap out of the MVC. But the MVC isn't any good. The metrics love them, but the results suggest they would struggle to get past the 1st weekend. Tough team to figure out.

All 4 of Arizona's losses came against top-4 seeds, and 2 of those without Trier.

WSU's KenPom, similar to Gonzaga, is as a result of running roughshod over the MVC and WCC. So, based on how you view those conferences matters.

I personally think that WSU is underrated, Gonzaga slightly overrated.
