The sportsnet panel after the game with the homer narrative take on that hit was something. If some other cdn team player did that to end a playoff game their team lost they would be all over it saying that team was dirty, undisciplined, had come unraveled ... instead we get "its not a great hit but honestly its also one you dont apologize for"

Absolutely not. It's been a pretty dirty, or at least questionable, series. It seems to be getting a bit out of control.

I'm not sure that only fining the most obvious of the infractions is the best course of action to lower the temperature in this series.

Should probably just change the name of the Department of Player Safety to Department of Optics and Mental Gymnastics (DOOMG). Not much heed being given to player safety at this point.

Just my two cents, but the dirtiest play I've seen in the playoffs was the Arvidsson can-opener on McNabb that sent McNabb crashing into the end boards. He was lucky he wasn't seriously injured.

Earlier in the same game, no call on the play. Should be a game or two, and the only reason it isn't is because he "missed".

The more shit like that goes uncalled, the more the cheap shots ramp up.




Also, it's pretty annoying how that hit was worthy of a death sentence, yet Domi's was fine (and vice versa) depending on which color you're wearing.
