The hockey has been largely outstanding, but what exactly are the officials doing wrt both interference and bad changes? Both teams have gotten away with a lot of really obvious infractions, at least a few trips by the Pens, and clear too many men and interference in particular jump out that weren't called on the Caps.

The Caps have done a pretty great job of taking the body in ways that make sense. Good use of their physicality. Obviously, the hit by Carlson on Malkin gets highlighted, but there was a similarly excellent hit by Niskanen on Guentzel.

The Pens are using their speed well, in contrast, in particular in the neutral zone. They're being pesky, and it's helped to limit the Caps' chances and produce their own.
