Interesting to see what Sullivan does with his lineup. I'd argue that the current lines and pairings favor the Caps, but the Pens are about to be on home ice and can dictate who plays against who better. OV-Eller-Wilson seems kinda reminiscent of HBK; a skilled winger with two "grinders" creating space.

Really interesting. Not sure what to make of it, but hoping they don't catch lightning in a bottle. Guess we'll see.

Pens D-man Daley out of Game 6 with injury

No Daley...will be see Streit or will they do what I expect and play Ruhwedel.

Why hasn't Streit played in so long? It seems like he'd be an upgrade over just about anyone in terms of exiting the zone, and that's definitely been what's gotten the Pens in the most trouble.

Only thing I can think of is he's older and set in his ways. Sullivan wants guys who will play the role he wants them to play. You do what Sully wants, you play.

Wouldn't say it's a choke, Caps are playing a perfect road period so far. Just nothing for the Pens in the O zone.

Caps getting better and better as this series goes along.

Obviously better team throughout the series is obvious.

Still 2 periods to play though, and I doubt Fleury is just going to give up 2 goals in the second period.

The only thing the Caps did not do in that first period was put more pucks behind Fleury. Damn near perfect first for the Caps.

And that's the only thing that matters. Caps have done this too many times for one good period and a 1-0 lead to mean anything to me.
